How to Buy
If you already own SOL, skip to step 4.
1. Set Up Your Wallet
We recommend using the Phantom Wallet, a popular and secure wallet for the Solana blockchain.
Download and install the Phantom Wallet extension for your browser or app for your mobile device.
Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet and back up your recovery phrase.
In your wallet, you’ll be able to store and manage your Solana (SOL) and ChippyChaps Coin.
2. Purchase SOL from an Exchange
ChippyChaps Coin is stored on the Solana blockchain, which uses SOL as its native currency. To purchase ChippyChaps Coin, you’ll need SOL.
Steps to Purchase SOL:
Create an account on a crypto exchange like Coinbase, Binance, or Crypto.com.
Verify your identity by providing your personal information and government-issued ID.
Connect your bank account or another payment method to fund your purchase.
Buy SOL by navigating to the "Buy/Sell" section and selecting Solana (SOL).
3. Send SOL to Your Wallet
Once you’ve purchased SOL, transfer it to your Phantom Wallet:
Open your Phantom Wallet and copy your wallet address by clicking on your wallet name.
Go to your crypto exchange (e.g., Coinbase) and select Send/Receive.
Choose Solana (SOL) as the cryptocurrency to send.
Paste your Phantom Wallet address into the "To" field, enter the amount of SOL you want to send, and confirm the transaction.
Funds should appear in your Phantom Wallet shortly.
4. Buy ChippyChaps Coin
ChippyChaps Coin will be available for purchase on Solana-based platforms. To buy:
Visit a decentralized exchange (DEX) such as Raydium, or a supported centralized exchange.
Connect your Phantom Wallet to the exchange.
Swap your SOL for ChippyChaps Coin directly on the platform.
Follow the exchange’s instructions to complete your transaction, and the ChippyChaps Coin will appear in your wallet.
5. Track and Hold
Once you have your ChippyChaps Coin, keep an eye on your holdings in your Phantom Wallet. Remember, holding longer can earn you rewards on the HODL Leaderboard!
